Privacy Policy
Welcome to MemoMatch – a memory training game. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our app, particularly regarding Firestore cloud storage and Google Authentication (Gmail) sync.
1. Information We Collect & Store in Firestore
When you sign in with your Google account (Gmail Auth via Firebase Authentication), we create a secure profile for you in Cloud Firestore. The following data is stored exclusively to enable game synchronization across devices and to provide leaderboards:
- Player name – your chosen display name (nickname).
- Total score – accumulated points from all levels and stages.
- Current level & stage progress – which levels are unlocked, completed stages, stars earned.
- Game statistics – hearts count, tournament rankings (local/world), daily rewards claimed.
- Unique user ID – linked to your Google account (not shared publicly).
✅ Sync feature: Your progress is automatically synced between your device and Firestore whenever you complete a level or earn points. This allows you to continue playing on another device after logging in with the same Gmail account.
2. How We Use Your Gmail Authentication (Firebase Auth)
- Secure sign-in – we never see or store your Gmail password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google’s secure servers.
- Cross‑device sync – your game progress (levels, scores, hearts) is saved to Firestore and linked to your email so you can restore it on any device.
- Leaderboards & tournaments – your chosen player name (not your email) may appear on local/world leaderboards. Your email remains private.
3. Firestore Data Storage & Security
- All data stored in Firestore is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS).
- Access rules are enforced by Firebase Security Rules – only authenticated users can read/write their own data.
- We retain your Firestore data as long as your account is active. You can request permanent deletion (see section 6).
4. Third‑Party Services
MemoMatch uses the following trusted services:

5. Ads & In-App Purchases
- Free version includes banner and interstitial ads via AdMob.
- Remove Ads – one‑time purchase that permanently disables all ads.
- Rewarded videos for extra hearts are optional and do not require extra personal data.
6. Your Rights & Data Deletion
- Delete all your Firestore data: Go to Settings → Delete all data inside the app. This will remove your player name, scores, level progress, and sync info from the cloud. You can also contact us.
- Revoke Gmail access: You can unlink your Google account from the app in your Google Account settings.
- Children under 13: We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Any significant changes will be notified via the app or by email. Continued use of MemoMatch after the update constitutes acceptance.
9. Request Account & Data Deletion
If you wish to delete your MemoMatch account and all associated data (including game progress, scores, and personal information), please follow one of these methods:
Option 1: Send an Email
Send an email from the address linked to your Google account to: privacy@memomatch.com
Please include the subject line: "Delete My MemoMatch Account"
We will process your request within 7-14 business days and send a confirmation email once completed.
Option 2: Use the Contact Form Below (Optional)
You can also use the contact form to request deletion. Please provide your registered email address.
Note: After deletion, your game progress, scores, hearts, and tournament rankings cannot be recovered. Your email address will be permanently removed from our Firebase Authentication system.
