Image resizing with privacy in mind

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how learnovaapps ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Resizely - Image Resizer (the "App").

1. Image processing

Resizely processes selected images locally on your device. Your images are not uploaded to our servers for resizing, compression, conversion, preview, or batch processing. The App may read images that you select and save processed copies to a location you choose or to the App's designated media folder.

2. EXIF metadata

If you enable the option to preserve metadata, the App may copy available EXIF data from the original image to the output. EXIF data can include camera details, date and time, and—when present—precise location information. If you do not want this data in the result, disable metadata preservation before saving or sharing the image.

3. Local history and preferences

The App stores processing history, settings, presets, and advertising frequency information locally on your device. This information supports features such as History and your saved preferences. You can remove it by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App. Deleting a history entry may not delete an exported image from shared storage.

4. Advertising and consent

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request or manage consent where required. Depending on your region, choices, device settings, and the type of ad served, Google and its partners may collect or process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, diagnostics, and consent signals.

5. Permissions and system access

Resizely requests only access needed to provide its features. This may include access to photos or media you select, notifications on supported Android versions, and internet access for ads, consent messages, and legal pages. Share Intent allows you to send selected images from another app to Resizely. The App does not claim ownership of your images.

6. Crash information

The App may create a local diagnostic record when an unexpected error occurs so that it can display a recovery screen. Unless a separate reporting feature clearly asks for your action, this local crash information is not automatically uploaded to us. Advertising services may independently receive diagnostics as described in their own policies.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your images or personal information. Information may be processed by advertising and consent providers as described above, or disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.

8. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored App data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Exported images remain wherever you saved or shared them until you delete them from that location. Data processed by Google is retained according to Google's policies and your applicable consent choices.

9. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their country to consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through our own servers. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us.

10. Security

Local processing reduces image-transfer risks, but no device, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device and reviewing sensitive EXIF information before sharing output files.

11. International processing

Third-party advertising providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their processing is governed by their privacy terms and applicable legal safeguards.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy when the App, legal requirements, or third-party services change. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App where appropriate.
